What is Resorts World?

Resorts World Birmingham is an all-in-one entertainment complex and it located opposite the Genting Arena just a couple of minutes walk from the NEC. It boasts the largest casino in the United Kingdom, a selection of outlet shops, restaurants, bars, HOllywood Bowl, Vortex Gaming, a luxury spa, four-star hotel and Cineworld cinema with Imax.

What are my dining options in the Resort?

Resorts World Birmingham offers several dining options, to cater to different tastes. They have Nando's, Sky Bar and Restaurant, Friday's, Pizza Express, GBK, Las Iguanas, Vietnamese Street Kitchen, Five Guys and more..

Parent and Child Facilities

Baby-changing facilities & a relaxing baby-feeding room for Mamas and Papas are located on the ground floor opposite the escalators, adjacent to the public toilets.

Dog Policy

As much as we love all pooches, we do only allow guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs on site.

Mobility

Disabled toilets and lifts are located within the building.

Wheelchairs & powered scooters are available to hire from our team at Guest Services, for up to 4 hours at a time, during retail hours. You’ll be able to loan equipment up until 2 hours before closing time each day.

We’ll just need you to fill out a couple of identification forms before you scoot away on your hired equipment. In addition, a piece of Photo ID and Proof of Address will also do nicely. Our Guest Services assistants will then ensure everything is present and correct before you leave, with a quick signature to confirm you’ve grasped those all important instructions!

What are the opening times?

We’re open later than most! Our outlet stores are open from 10am - 7pm Monday to Saturday and from 11am-5pm on Sundays. These hours may change during bank holidays and seasonal events, so do be sure to check our website. For more information on restaurant opening times visit our directory on the website.

Where can we park for Resorts World Birmingham?

All information on getting to, parking and navigating yourself around the Resort can be found on the Getting Here section of the website. 

Our multi-storey car park can accommodate vehicles up to 2.1m in height. If our multi-storey is full there is alternative parking in other campus car parks. Electronic signs will direct you to the nearest available car park.

Dedicated spaces for disabled and Blue Badge drivers are located in all of our car parks which follow the Resorts World Birmingham parking tariff.

What are the times for the hotel Courtesy shuttle bus?

Our Courtesy Shuttle Bus leaves on the hour and half hour, quite punctually. (Please note: Between the hours of 4 and 6AM, it runs three times per hour, on the hour, at 20 past and 20 to)

What are the car parking rates for guests at the hotel?

- £12.00 for residents

- 3-8 Hours - £15.00

Where is the nearest cash point? (in the hotel)

The nearest cash point in the Hotel is in the Main Lobby.

Is there a small shop nearby from the hotel?

The Piacetto Coffee Shop sells small essential items such as drinks & snacks as well as a vending machine next to Concierge. At Concierge, cigarettes can be purchased.

What time is breakfast served from/until?

Breakfast is served in our Boulevard Restaurant, weekdays from 6.30 to 10.00, weekends from 7.00 to 11.00.

Do I have to pay for Wi-Fi at the hotel?

Wifi is free in the lobby, lounge and bar area, however wifi in the bedrooms or meeting rooms will cost money to purchase, although this is again free for *Hilton Honors Members.

What time is check-in / check -out?

Check in 15:00 / Check out 12:00

The Bear Grylls Adventure is based at The NEC site and is between Hall 1 and Resorts World Arena. Located at NEC Birmingham within easy reach of the motorway network and just an eight-minute walk from Birmingham International.

We are owned by Merlin Entertainments and the attraction prides itself on giving guests the feeling they have escape the ordinary and experience the awesome.  The Bear Grylls Adventure is the first Adventure Activity Centre of its kind. Inspired by adventurer and explorer Bear Grylls, the attraction features 11 action-packed indoor and outdoor experiences including Axe Throwing, Indoor Archery, Indoor Climb, Shark Dive, Escape Rooms, High Ropes, iFLY Indoor Skydiving, Snorkel, Zip Line, Shooting and a Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course. Ideal for adventurers of all ages 8 and up, the attraction is guaranteed to get guests adrenaline pumped and ready to climb, dive, fly, zip, leap, scramble and explore as they take on some of the world’s greatest adventure challenges.

 

Since their opening in 2018, The Bear Grylls Adventure has worked with The Shark Trust, the leading UK-based shark conservation charity, to raise awareness and contribute to the urgent conservation of global shark populations. A percentage of each Shark Dive ticket sold at the attraction goes towards the work done by The Shark Trust.

What are the Terms and Conditions for the Destination NEC Summer Giveaway Competition?

Competition Details

By entering the Competition, you will have the chance of winning 1 prizes (over the course of the competition, there will be x5 prizes but you will be required to enter each one individually and you can only be in with a chance of winning one prize per competition entry), including: 

- Moxy Hotel:  Free stay with breakfast

- Hilton Hotel: 60 minute treatment gift card for Pure Spa and Dinner x 2 with cocktail on arrival in Brightsmiths.

- Bear Grylls Adventure: Family day out at BGA - this would be for a family of 4 with x2 activities (must be the same activity and excluding aqua activities) and the assault course.

Competition Terms and Conditions

A prize competition (“the Competition”) will be held by the National Exhibition Centre Limited, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, West Midlands, B40 1NT (“we”, “us” or “our”), as more particularly described in the competition details above (“Competition Details”). The Competition is to win the prize described in the Competition Details (“the Prize”). By entering the Competition, you agree to the following additional terms and conditions:

  1. Entering your details at, or completing and returning a reply card to, the location specified in the Competition Details will automatically enter you in the Competition. By submitting a competition entry/reply card, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. The Competition is open to all UK and EU residents over 18 with the exception of our employees, and those of our holding or subsidiary companies and agents and their families and friends and is limited to one (1) entry per person. In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
  3. You can enter the Competition during the dates stated in the Competition Details. Entries received after this will not be eligible for the Prize and will be automatically disqualified.
  4. Only complete and clearly legible entries will be entered into the Competition.
  5. One entrant will be selected at random, as the winner on the date set out in the Competition Details. Our selection of the winner is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  6. The winner will be notified by telephone or email, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry. Please ensure your details are correct before submitting your competition entry. We will send the name and county of the winner to anyone who within one month after the closing date of the Competition writes to us requesting details of the winner and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out in the Competition Details.
  7. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, we may, at our discretion, exclude you from participating in the Competition. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend this Competition, or these terms and conditions, at any time.
  8. The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and any claims or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these terms (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
  9. We will not accept: responsibility for Competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed in transit for any reason; or proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.
  10. All Competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to us will become our property on receipt and will not be returned. By entering, the Competition you assign to us all your intellectual property rights, and you agree to waive any moral rights, in your Competition entry.
  11. Unless stated otherwise in the Competition Details, the Prize cannot be substituted for a cash alternative and the Prize cannot be transferred to a third party.
  12. We reserve the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
  13. Insofar as is permitted by law, we, our agents or our distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by our negligence, our agents or our distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please note that in such circumstances, we must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
